Meet Joel Flores
Joel Flores is a decorated Army Combat Veteran, devoted family man, and Mayor of Greenacres. He earned the Combat Action Badge, Army Commendation Medal, and Army Achievement Medal for his distinguished duty and service in Operation Enduring Freedom in Afghanistan. Raised by a single hard-working mother who is a teacher, Joel learned early on in his life the value of education, hard work, and commitment. While raising his three young children, he worked full-time and earned his Bachelor’s Degree in Business from Lyndon State College and his Master of Business Administration from Southern New Hampshire University.
Joel is also a dedicated public servant. He has served as the Mayor of the City of Greenacres since 2017, and was re-elected unopposed in March 2020. As the 8th largest city in Palm Beach County, Greenacres is known for its amazing amenities and safety, making it a great place to live. As Mayor, Joel focuses on serving and protecting his community, volunteering in the community, and mentoring youth. He also serves on several boards, including the Transportation Planning Agency of Palm Beach County, Palm Beach County League of Cities, and Lake Worth West Residential Planning Agency.
With extensive experience in the financial industry, Joel is a Wealth Management Advisor and Partner at Loggerhead Wealth Management. He specializes in helping Florida Retirement System participants, Veterans, Small Businesses, Retirees, and those who serve and protect our community. Joel’s primary focus is providing his clients with a personalized approach to managing their wealth. Prior to joining Loggerhead Wealth Management, Joel served as the Vice President of Business Development & Small Business Initiatives for the Palm Beach North Chamber of Commerce, where he oversaw approximately 1,000 businesses and organizations throughout Palm Beach County.
